|
|
|
Why
can't I register from Hotmail or a free email address?
We
have a very secure server and unfortunately free email accounts do not support
secure servers. We apologize for the inconvenience but this makes all Internet
transactions with us very safe. You can register via mail. You can choose a
payment method of "check by mail" from our register form.

How
do I remove the banner that pops up at the bottom of my screen saver?
You
will need to register.
The banner will automatically be removed after you type in your registration
code.
|
|
|
| If
you registered your screen saver and the banner stills pops up then it is
possible you overlooked typing in your register/unlocking codes in your screen
saver. You will find these codes in your email from us. |
| |
|
I've
registered, but the link to download the screen saver file in my email is not
valid.
If
you did not already download your screen saver you can download it after you
register
it. You can do this by following the link in your email confirmation from us.
This link is only valid for 12 hours, so please download it within that time
frame.

do I enter my register codes or unlock this screen saver?
After
you register
we will email your register/unlocking codes to you in a confirmation email. To

codes are different for every download and change frequently. We do not maintain
records of these codes so please keep yours in a safe place.
|
|
|
|
My
screen saver expired before I registered it!
That
is okay. The screen saver will continue to run after you
register
it and type in your register/unlocking codes.

| If
you registered your screen saver and it expired then it is possible you
overlooked typing in your register/unlocking codes in your screen saver. You
will find these codes in your confirmation email from us. |
| |
|
I
registered but did not receive an email confirmation with my codes.
This
process can take up to 24 hours. Email confirmations and register/unlocking code
are all generated automatically so it is very important that you type in your
email address correctly.

|
Can I get a refund after I purchase and register a product?
A: Since the software may be tried out for thirty days, your decision to

Trouble
Shooting FAQs |

|
|
I
do not have any sound?
Download
this small file ... here
ll3codecx.exe
and double click on it to install it. You will need to restart your computer.
This update should not only fix the sound in your screen saver but also enable
you to play most *.wav files found on the Internet. This file is included with
Window's 98 and updated service packs for Window's.
Compression-Related Problems - Very common issue with many screen savers.
There is a new audio codec (that stands for COmpressor/DECompressor) that uses the MPEG Layer-3 compression. If you're familiar with MP3-format files, you know that they are much smaller than normal WAV-format files, but capable of digital sound with no appreciable quality loss. They are truly WAV-format files only compressed.

My
computer has been freezing after the screen saver runs for a little bit. What
can I do to stop this?
The
first thing you will want to try is to disable all of the different effects. You
can do this by clicking on the screen saver icon in your start menu and then
clicking on the Settings button. Then click on the Effects tab and uncheck all
of the different effects boxes.
|
|
|
| If
doing this does not fix the problem, you may want to try to disable the changing
wallpaper. You can do this by going into the Settings once again and clicking on
the Wallpaper tab. Then just set the "Cycle Every" option to: Never,
and that should fix the problem. |
| |
| If
you are still having problems you might have a bad install or a bad download.
First try uninstalling the screen saver and install it again. IMPORTANT - Please
uninstall the other screen saver first by using the uninstall in your start menu
or add/remove programs in the control panel. This should fix it but, if you
still have problems you may want to download the file again. If you download the
file again please remember to uninstall the other one first. |
| |
|
The
images are showing up very "grainy" and blurry on my screen. How can I
fix this?
If
the pictures look blurry or grainy, most likely your Display Properties, Color
setting is set at too low. To check this, go into your: Start Menu - Settings -
Control Panel and double click on "Display". In the Display
Properties, go to the Settings tab and look for the Colors settings. This may be
set at 16 colors. We recommend that you set it to AT LEAST 256 colors. The
higher you set it, the better the pictures will display. If you can set it up to
16 bit or 32 bit (True Color), it will improve the picture quality quite a bit!
|
|
|
|
My
screen saver is only displaying a black screen. How can I fix this?
It
appears when Windows is running low on resources/memory. The screen saver does
not have any memory leaks. Chances are that you may be running applications that
for whatever reason drain the system memory, until eventually the screen saver
is unable to display pictures. We suggest that you restart as required, and if
possible run the resource meter (Start/Programs/Accessories/System
Tools/Resource Meter) and keep an eye on their resources to see what
application(s) are causing memory leak problems.
|
|
|
| It does NOT appear that the screen saver has
leaks, so the source of the memory drain is most likely other
applications. |
| |
|
I
get an error message, what should I do?
This
error is often caused by a corrupt file in the software. What you will need to
do is reinstall the screen saver. You will need to uninstall the screen saver
before you reinstall. Please be sure to restart your computer after
reinstalling.

|
|
|
I
am having trouble downloading from your web site!
The
problem is most likely your Internet connection. The Internet can become very
crowded and busy at times, so the best suggestion is simply to try again in a
few hours. Most likely it is a temporary problem that will clear up. Please
visit our web site at http://www.netexecutive.net
and try downloading again, most likely there was heavy internet traffic when you
tried to download it.
|
|
|
|
I
downloaded a screen saver, but I don't know where it is.
Go
to your Start menu, choose Find, and click on Files or Folders. If you can't
find the file by searching, you will have to download it again. We recommend
that you save the file to your Desktop so that it is easy to find when it is
finished.
|
|
|
A corrupt file
This can happen when a Internet connection is slow or there is heavy traffic on the Internet especially during peak hours. You can check this by comparing the size of the file. If your file is smaller then your download may not have finished or "time out". You need to download the file again and verify the download is complete. |
| |
Click on window's explorer in the start menu
click on view in the tool bar
click on detail
click on the directory you downloaded the file to and compare the size |
